Recycling Information on our Fiber-filled Jewelry Boxes
Recycled Cardboard
All of the cardboard utilized for the paper boxes is made with 100% recycled fibers. 80% of this is composed of post-consumer recovered fiber. The remaining 20% is pre-consumer fiber sources from industrial trimmings and the like.
Jeweler’s Fiber Inserts
Our fiber inserts are made with polyester. New fibers are used to keep the product bright white and low in sulfur to prevent the tarnishing of silver jewelry. These inserts are readily reusable and recyclable when sorted with other polyester products.
Ring Foam Inserts
Found in our ring boxes, these inserts are made with polyester. New fibers are used to keep the product low in sulfur to prevent the tarnishing of silver jewelry. These inserts are readily reusable and recyclable when sorted with other polyester products.
Glues
The glues utilized to adhere the paper to the cardboard are completely made up of natural animal proteins. This is a low sulfur glue to ensure that any silver products do not tarnish at an accelerated rate.
